A part of Ms. Arsht’s gift is being devoted to faculty development. University of Miami faculty may apply for or might be invited to apply for support to recognize their work in ethics. The amount of support will vary.
The intent is to encourage worthy scholarly projects, including but not limited to book and article manuscript preparation and curriculum development. As approved, funds may be used to obtain release time or course buyouts, support for travel and supplies, and so on. Awards are reviewed by distinguished panel of faculty referees.
